Categories & word limits
Manuscripts must fall within the scope of law. Word limits are exclusive of footnotes; up to four co-authors are permitted.
Research Paper 3,000+ words
Original, in-depth scholarship advancing a legal argument or analysis.
Article 1,500–3,000
Focused commentary on a contemporary legal question or development.
Case Comment 1,000–2,000
Critical analysis of a significant judgment and its implications.
Short Note 1,000–2,000
A concise note on an emerging issue, statute or reform.
Book Review 1,500–2,000
A considered review of a recent legal text or monograph.

Original & unpublished. The work must be your own, not published or under review elsewhere.
No plagiarism. Plagiarism of any kind is prohibited and grounds for rejection.
Relevant & original. The Board favours manuscripts that are contemporary, topical and creative.
Uniform citation. Any consistent method of citation may be used throughout.
Up to four co-authors. Co-authorship is permitted up to a maximum of four authors.
Copyright. Copyright rests with the Editorial Board once a paper is selected and the authors are notified; the final decision on acceptance rests with the Board.
