Review Process

How we review your work

Every manuscript submitted to IJLSI goes through a structured, double-blind peer review. Author and reviewer identities stay confidential, and each paper is judged on merit alone.

1

Submission

You submit your manuscript through the online portal and receive a Manuscript ID instantly for tracking.

2

Initial screening

The editorial team confirms the paper falls within the scope of law, and checks formatting and plagiarism compliance before it goes to review.

3

Double-blind peer review

The paper is sent to two independent reviewers. Identities of authors and reviewers are withheld from one another throughout.

4

Decision

Selection for publication depends on the reports of both reviewers. If either reviewer rejects the manuscript, it is referred for editorial review, and the final judgement is based on that editorial assessment.

5

Revisions, if any

Where the panel suggests changes, the author is notified. The article is forwarded for publication only once the required changes have been made.

6

Publication

Only accepted manuscripts are published, subject to completion of pre-publication formalities by the author(s) — after which the paper goes live with a permanent DOI.
